I’ve been chasing perfect sunsets, secret beaches, and unreal deals for years. Now I get to plan them for you. Whether it’s a quick Mediterranean escape or the safari you’ve always dreamed of, my team and I obsess over every detail so you don’t have to.

Hi, I’m Alex
I met James in a tiny Rome trattoria in 2016 over way too much carbonara and red wine. We started talking trips… and I’ve been part of JL Travel ever since.
Joined the team that same year and never looked back. Italy is still my first love, but I’ve been lucky enough to chase sharks in South Africa, balloons in Cappadocia, and lions in the Serengeti with our travelers.

Hi, I’m Cynthia Makarichi
Last year I was guiding in Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools when James rolled in with his JL Travel group. We bonded over sunset G&Ts on the Zambezi, and by the end of the trip I’d joined the team.
Now I craft every Africa adventure – Victoria Falls, Serengeti migrations, gorilla trekking, Okavango deltas… you name it.
This continent is home, and I love nothing more than sharing it with you.
